Radio Lambi: A Voice for the Grand'Anse Region

Radio Lambi, also known as Radio Tele Lambi, was founded in Corail, in Haiti's Grand'Anse department, on June 27, 1997, and is now based in Jeremie, broadcasting on 104.1 FM alongside a companion television channel. Under its director, Senator Michel Clerie, the station has extended its reach well beyond Grand'Anse, reaching listeners as far as Gonave Island, Tortuga Island, Petit-Goave, Fort-Liberte, and even parts of Port-au-Prince.

Its programming blends news and information with reggae, blues, classics, and Haitian music, giving it a varied schedule that serves both the practical and entertainment needs of its regional audience. Often referred to as "La Fierte Grand'Anselaise," the pride of Grand'Anse, the station carries real significance as a home-grown voice for a part of Haiti that doesn't always get the same media attention as the capital.

For listeners in or connected to the Grand'Anse region, Radio Lambi has served as a genuine local institution for nearly three decades.
